Roadrail Vehicles

Transnet Freight Rail identified the need to perform various maintenance functions on rail and needed a mobile unit that could travel on road and rail. F&R Operations acquired the Zagro agency and has been instrumental in the maintenance of the Road-Rail Vehicles with our mobile workshops. The first generation Road-Rail Vehicles based on a Rubber-or-Track basis.

We recently launched our hydrostatic version which is predicated on our extensive knowledge of hydraulics. The hydrostatic solution is based on converting the Isuzu and Nissan platforms with rail gear equipment. Through mobile service vehicles we provide on site maintenance of the road rail vehicles countrywide and on the customer’s premises or where the vehicles are located.

Through our state of the art call centre management system and effective planning we are able to keep these vehicles in operation.
